From New York, With Love

New York, New York!

I took a quick trip to the bright lights big city this weekend. It’s hard not to fall immediately and swiftly in love with New York because of the never-ending restaurants, unique neighborhoods and vibrant nightlife. I had two really lovely meals at The Fat Radish (dinner) and Hundred Acres (brunch) and watched Thierry Henry work some magic at the Red Bulls game. Sadly, our Montreal Impact lost 5-2.

If you ever decide to drive from Montreal to New York, do yourself a solid and print some directions. If you don’t, you could end up in the heart of the Catskills in the middle of the night and then be so happy to finally find a main highway that you get pulled over for going 15 miles over the speed limit in a Prius. Yes, a Prius. It’s possible to be green AND mean, friends.
